Emergency Service

24 Hour Emergency Line

At Singleton Vet Hospital we understand that pets do not always fall ill when it is convenient for you, so we have tailored our business hours to suit today’s busy family. Our Singleton Hospital is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8.30 to 12pm on Saturdays and 9 to 12 on Sundays.

We also have a branch located at Branxton open 9am to 5.30pm weekdays for our clients in the Belford to Lochinvar regions and beyond, with vets onsite between 9am and 11am in the morning and 4pm to 5.30pm each afternoon, and from 9 to 11am Saturdays.

For any immediate veterinary needs such as critical illness or injury that occur outside of our above operating hours we have an After Hours Emergency Service. Some common emergencies relate to car accidents, heart conditions, poisoning and a range of injuries.

Upon arrival, your pet will be assessed by one of our veterinarians. We will aim to provide an estimate of the costs involved with your case, however, please be aware that with emergency procedures costs can vary depending on what services and treatments are required. Our veterinarians will keep you updated regularly during the course of your pet's stay in hospital. In some cases we may need to refer to a veterinary specialist centre or 24-hour emergency facility.

We hope your pet never needs us for an emergency however this After-Hours Service means that one of our vets will always be available for your pet in their time of need. So you can rest worry free knowing that your best friend will always receive the best care from us no matter what time it is.

Please note: This service is for emergencies only.

For any general enquiries please call during our standard operating hours.
